You forgot to mention that a "Synthetic Covered Call" is also and arguably more commonly known as a "Poor-Man's Covered Call." Your video here for instance is the first time I've heard it referred to as a Synthetic Covered Call for example.

In the breakout example, couldn't you just raise your stop (reduce risk) after bar B to increase your EV for bar C?

I can’t seem to reconcile the initial 10k. When you buy the leap, that money is gone. Now if you look at the scorecard, you start from $0. The $12,390 at the end is your total money after all this. Not your profit. Your profit was $2,390. Am I missing something here?

Here are three very simple and dumb option strategies you and your neighbor can use right now to make 20% return every trade 100 times a day as easy as clicking a button and going to sleep that were lost forever but whose secrets were recently found in the Dead Sea scrolls. So easy even smb algos do it without needing to tell anyone.

7.7% ROI on this trade. Not bad, the downsides are a) capital is tied up (opportunity cost - assuming you have something better to do with the $$$) and b) if META closes below, significantly below the premium rec'd - so it hits $387) then you are in the red. The likelihood is this will not be held till expiration - no need to get greedy, be happy with 65% - 80% of the premium on a shorter time frame. Oh and find a platform that will not charge you ridiculous fees - SOFI, eTrade, IBKR and I will mention Robinhood and WeBull too.
